On the tip of the peninsula, away from the hustle and bustle of Kalpitiya town, we find The Rascals Kite Resort, a lush one acre tropical plantation with integrated structures that touches the Kalpitiya lagoon and opens up to an expansive environment of sandbanks, mangrove islands and the amazing variety of kite spots. The Rascals Kite Resort is the home base for DPC Kalpitiya and offers a place to retreat between sessions. With only 11 island style rooms they are able to offer personalized service to their guests. The restaurant serves wholesome meals made from scratch with carefully sourced ingredients and the option to stay on a full board basis includes a continental breakfast, a light lunch that can be enjoyed on the premises or packed for the beach and an Italian flavored dinner.
