DPC Kalpitiya will open you the door to the fascinating sport of TRUE KITEBOARDING! All our lessons are held by professional, patient and experienced IKO certified instructors on flat water and in a controlled environment. We teach not more than 2 students under one instructor for maximum risk control and the use of VHF walkie talkies let the instructors communicate clearly at all times, promoting quick and safe progress.

Beginner STARTER Training

Requirements: students need to know how to swim, no need to have practiced any water sports before

Our 9-hour full beginner course is spread over 3 days and will guide you through all safety aspects of the sport, leading up to your initial attempts at water starting.

KITEBOARDING INTERMEDIATE LESSON

REFRESH & IMPROVE Training

  • Enter and exit the water while controlling the kite

Level: intermediate
Requirement: lessons for kiters who wish to improve their post-beginner skills by learning upwind riding, transitions, self rescue or just refresh their skills and ride supervised before heading out on their own

Book a few coaching hours with one of our instructors to finally nail that trick or land a new one. Recommended in combination with one of our island trips where conditions are prime for progression of advanced tricks.
